"Dancho Chochek"

Founded by Feiza Bakic, the Mladenovic Orchestra is closely tied to Gypsy culture. Feiza’s son, Bakia, took over in the middle of the 20th century. In 1963, he won the "first trumpet" title (main price) at the Guca Brass  music festival and went on to repeat this feat twice more.

After retiring, he passed the torch on to his young nephew Milan Mladenovic. In 1979 and 2001 the Milan Mladenovic Orchestra was named Best Orchestra at the Guca Festival.

Milan Mladenovic started to lead band from 1973 and same year took golden trumpet. After it he won the first trumpet at 1978 and went to repeat this 3 times more and at 1990's he become THE MASTER of TRUMPET.

After this his son Nenad won first trumpet with his ages of 16 and was the youngest first trumpet of Guca Festival in history. He went to repeat this 3 times more and become THE MASTER OF TRUMPET as his dad Milan Mladenovic. Today, the orchestra comprises three generations of the Mladenovic family: trumpeter Milan, 58, his three sons – Nenad (first trumpet now), Misha, Dobrivoje and his grand-son Ekrem also trumpet player.
